I heart Drugstore Makeup Tag!

Hey guys, welcome to my first blog post (cheesy opening, I know)

I wasn't really sure what to do for my first blog post but I am going to do the I heart drugstore makeup tag. I wont do a video on it though as I don't want to burn your eyes with my face.

What is your favourite drugstore makeup brand overall?

My favourite drugstore brand would have to be Bourjois as there makeup always looks really natural and flawless on my skin. They aren't as cheap as brands like Collection but they are better quality which is what you would hope for when you pay more money.

What are your favourite face, cheek and lip products?

My favourite face products are the Healthy Mix Foundation by Bourjois and the Collection (2000?) Lasting Perfection Concealer as they both have great staying power, are suitable for all skin types and always look flawless and non cakey.

My favourite cheek product is the Revlon Cream Blush in Coral Reef as it is a cream to matte finish and is suitable for al skin types as it will not budge.

My favourite lip products would be Maybelline Colour Sensational Vivid in Electric Orange. I love all the colours in this range but Electric Orange is definitely my favourite. They are really creamy to put on and don't dry out your lips at all. These have a very glossy finish which I love as I don't really suit matte lipsticks. You can build these up or wear them very subtly which is great.

What is your least favourite drugstore makeup product?

I am really sorry to say this but I really don't like the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation as I find that it always looks really streaky on my skin no matter how much I try to blend/buff it in. This is also a really light coverage foundation which isn't great for me as I like medium to high coverage foundation.

What is the best make up bargain?

Again it is the Collection (2000?) concealer for the reasons said before. These concealers are £4 - £5.

Underdog product / something that often gets overlooked?

My underdog product would have to be the Beauty UK blush. This is a great dupe for Mac's Well Dressed Blush which is one of my favourite blushes. No matter how much of this blush you put on it will always look super natural and always add a healthy glow. This is super cheap £3 - £4 and really good quality.

A drugstore product that is overpriced?

Not my picture

Pretty much every drugstore mascara seems overpriced to me. When you go to America the mascaras work out as half the price of the ones here, I just don't know why the cost £10 for a mascara which don't last that long and dry out quickly.

Best drugstore dupes?

This is one of the best drugstore dupes as they are pretty much the same formulation and colour for less than half the price which is great.

Drugstore product that isn't worth the hype?

As much as I love Bourjois I have to say that the Chocolate Bronzer looks really orange on pale skin like mine and I really don't like the smell of the bronzer. This also has shimmer running through it and I prefer my bronzers to be matte.
